DOCTRINE

The Mt. Olive Apostolic Original Holy Church of God is an Apostolic church proclaiming Jesus' name. We believe in salvation based on Acts 2:38 and the doctrine of Holiness.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

This question is as old as the dispensation of grace and is an important one. It is essential to salvation. In fact, it is salvation. Not many people are asking anymore, but they should. If this question is in your mind, or if you think that you are already saved, let's see what the Bible says.

Acts 2:37 WHAT SHALL WE DO?

Peter and the rest of the apostles had the answer because they had been instructed by Jesus is St. Luke 24:46-53: "…it behooved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

JESUS TOLD THEM THAT THEY WERE WITNESSES OF THESE THINGS

Behold I send the promise of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.

And it came to pass, while he blessed them he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

And they worshipped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

THEY WAITED FOR THE PROMISE, WHICH IS THE HOLY GHOST. ACTS 2:1-4

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit (of God) gave them utterance.

AS JESUS HAS TOLD THEM IN ST. LUKE 24:47

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

AS WAS FULFILLED IN ACTS 2:5

There were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

Peter was only doing what Jesus had told him to do in verse 14 of this same chapter when he stood up with the eleven and preached, witnessing to the things he had been taught by Jesus.

NOW WE COME TO THAT ESSENTIAL QUESTION IN THE 37TH VERSE

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, WHAT SHALL WE DO?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to those that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:37-39)

That meant whosoever will. The same promise is to all: Jew, Greek, black, white, red, male, female, boy or girl… TO ALL.

GALATIANS 3:27 SAYS

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

If you want to be saved, you must get in Jesus' name. Jesus himself left on record the way to be saved and HE IS THE WAY.

COLOSSIANS 3:17 SAYS:

Whatsoever ye do in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus…

ACTS 4:12 SAYS:

Neither is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The Lord is Coming
Save Yourself Before It's Too Late!
Nothing is worth being lost over. The things of this world are temporal. Salvation is eternal, and everyone must spend eternity somewhere.
